Background

In collaboration with multiple development partners, the ILO designed the Work in Freedom Programme, a large ILO inter-regional programme implemented along important labour migration pathways of migrant women workers in South and West Asia. Following ten years of implementation, the programme has documented a rich set of lessons learned and findings that can guide future efforts to tackle similar challenges. A special event will be organized on Monday 26 September from 2 – 4 PM at the ILO in Geneva to present and discuss these findings. Those based in Geneva are welcome to participate in person.
