Bareedo Platform Somalia, with support from the ILO through the Better Regional Migration Management Programme (BRMM), in collaboration with the Migration Response Centre (MRC), Bosaso Municipality, and the Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs Somalia (MoLSA), has organized a new series of awareness-raising workshops on migrant workers’ rights in Bosaso, Somalia.

The campaign aims to enhance the knowledge of migrant workers and host communities on international labour standards, migrants’ rights, fair recruitment practices, and available protection mechanisms. These community workshops and dialogues with migrants, host communities, media, and local authorities will empower migrants and communities, strengthen institutions and local governance, and support fair recruitment and decent work.
