Background
The training aims to strengthen understanding and implementation of fair recruitment principles among private employment agencies in Kenya. Participants will deepen their knowledge of ILO’s General Principles and Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment and explore how these align with national legislation and international labour standards.
Using interactive methods including case studies and group work, the sessions will enhance the capacity of KAPEA members to promote fair recruitment practices, reduce risks of exploitation, and foster collaboration with public institutions and social partners.
This activity supports the broader goals of the BRMM Programme to improve labour migration governance in East and Horn of Africa through fair, transparent, and rights-based recruitment processes.
